Gentle Meridian Yoga is designed to shift the awareness of a "work-out" to a "work-in". Working-in incorporates muscle strength with breath and balance using the awarness of the Meridians in the body to elaborate the asana and technique to heal the body. everything is done with intention and a supervised breath while building the internal as well as external strength through gentle touch theropy. This is felt on the inside by boosting the immune system recognizing the meridian as well as feeling the experiance. Feeling the gentle posture on the outside by developing long and lean muscle mass through relaxation and breath work. The class imploys inner gaze, breath awareness and enegry centers to assist the body with yoga and core strength using "yoga message props with assisted theories to compliment the flow . The work-in begins with ongoing techniques, and flows towards energy that burns up avidya (inner rubbish) allowing lean muscle to develope with healthy results. The class begins with gentle movement, then builds with a 40 minute cleansing with breath work incorporating the yoga ball for releasing what no-longer serves the body, along with deep tissue message. The class ends with reiki, gentle touch theropy and a short meditation that enhances muscle memory.
